Support

A YAV year is a large undertaking.  I do not wish to go through such an experience alone.  As such, I am reaching out for support in this undertaking.  While one way to show support is through financial means (which I'll discuss more down below), I am seeking support in as many different ways as possible.  Prayer is always an option.  So is reading and sharing this blog I have set up for this year.  Even more so, I invite you to join me in conversation and ask any questions you may have.  I find that questions are one of the most important ways to learn, and so I gladly invite any and all questions.  As well, if you have ideas for other ways you can provide or show support, please contact me to let me know.  I am open to new ideas.

If you are willing and able to support with monetary means, then let me provide some information first.  A YAV year typically costs about $24,000.  A goal has been set for me to raise at least $4,000 dollars, a fifth of the average cost for a year.  If you can support with monetary means, then I encourage you to visit https://www.handsandfeetavl.org/donate to learn how that money goes to support the YAV program in Asheville.  Also, that page holds the link to where you can go to donate to my YAV year.

Additionally, I would also invite you to check out the blog's of my fellow Asheville YAVs.  There are four of us living here in Asheville, and we all have different stories to tell.
